Lots Of Apples For Belliveau Orchards

The apples were plentiful this year.

The Owner of Belliveau Orchards in Memramcook says it was a big crop this year, probably the biggest they’ve had in years.

Robert Bourgeois says, “In the last few years, they’ve had a lot of damage from the deer, But this was the first year they started fencing their orchards and it made a big difference in the crop.”

He says they were surprised with the amount of apples this year, because of the bad winter, and the spring was slow.

The U-Pick season is now over…Their last weekend was the 17th and 18th…
