Greater Moncton Tops CFIB List Of Business Friendly Cities

The Canadian Federation of Business recently conducted its 8th Entrepreneurial communities report., and Moncton scored high on the list, with a lot of growth as compared to the last report.

The report looked at six areas in New Brunswick.

Denis Robichaud says this year, Greater Moncton took spot in the Atlantic region…and it scored high in several areas, “Moncton is doing fairly well when it comes to business establishments per capita, life satisfaction is also excellent, business confidence, that’s a pretty big one, how do business owners view the future.”

The report also identified some of the areas that Moncton could do better, things like, business establishment growth, self employment, awareness by local government of the importance of small business, and the general health of small business.

Moncton also made the list when compared with the top ten largest municipalities across the country. It ranked in tenth spot.
