You won’t notice much of a difference at the gas pumps this morning, but the maximum price went up slightly overnight with the weekly adjustment.
Gas prices increased 0.2 cents a litre, with many stations in Moncton selling for just over a buck a litre this morning.
Senior petroleum analyst with Gasbuddy.com Dan McTeague says diesel and furnace oil also increased, but only by 0.7 cents a litre, which is unusual.
He says normally we see those prices start to creeping up higher and faster, as the cooler weather begins to roll in.
Propane prices also increased by 1.1 cents a litre.
