Enjoy the sun today. We aren’t going to see it very much this week.
A rainfall warning has been issued for St. Stephen, Grand Manan, and the rest of Charlotte County.
Environment Canada meteorologist Claude Cote tells us a cold front is moving over from Quebec, along with another tropical disturbance coming up from the South. He says this cold front will stall the storm over Southern New Brunswick tomorrow.
“We’re going to see a bit of light drizzle, light shower activity for later on this evening and into the overnight period. Wednesday, and particularly Wednesday evening, we’re going to see rain at times heavy. It will begin to ease off on Thursday morning.”
Cote says we have two major concerns ahead of the storm tomorrow.
The first being the total rainfall amounts, which could be up to 100 mms of precipitation, as well as how quickly it falls.
