NB Power says the Point Lepreau Nuclear Power Station should be back online Sunday.
It was temporarily taken offline yesterday to carry out repairs on the standby safety systems overnight.
Following completion of startup procedures this weekend, the station is expected to reconnect to the grid on Sunday and return to high-power operations.
