A man in his 30’s escaping death after a fiery crash between a car and potato truck in Wicklow.
The car caught fire on Route 130 just before 8am yesterday and was engulfed in flames.
It was heading south when it hit the rear of a potato truck which was going the same way.
The driver of the car was able to get out of the car before it caught fire and was taken to hospital with injuries.
The car was completely destroyed.
Speed and reduced visibility in fog are factors in this crash and the driver of the car has been fined.
