Fredericton Police are advising cat owners to keep a close eye on their felines, after several cases of what appear to be animal cruelty in the Nashwaaksis area.
They’ve received several reports of missing cats over the past few weeks, and have also found remains. It’s believed that at least one cat was intentionally harmed.
Cat owners are being encouraged to keep their animals indoors, especially at night….in order to avoid them being an easy target for animal abusers, and from wildlife.
They’re also looking to talk to anyone who might have more information on the deaths of these animals.
