A Rothesay insurance technology company with an office in Moncton is being acquired for more than 15 million dollars by Towers Watson, a global professional services company based in the U.S.
Brovada was started up in 2003 by Karl Greenlaw in the basement of his home.
Greenlaw says in order to be successful when starting up a new business, you have to be driven, focused and it’s good to be a little hungry
He plans to stay with the new entity and there should be no change with the offices in Rothesay and Moncton.
Brovada software allows insurance companies to move their data around. He likens it to Interac for the insurance industry
