NB Power is launching a pilot project to provide real-time data on residential energy use.
The hardware will be installed in up to 150 homes on a trial basis, and the customers will be able to monitor their home energy use.
This will allow them to see exactly how much energy they are using and they’ll be able to take a closer look at their habits and how they can reduce energy.
The project is being offered through the utility with the help of Fredericton-based SimpTek Technologies.
