RCMP Confirm Discovery Of Two Bodies In Bouctouche Home After Fire

An autopsy is scheduled for two bodies found in the charred remains of a house in Bouctouche.

RCMP confirmed the discovery of two bodies after a fire consumed a house on Denis street early Monday morning.

The bodies have not yet been identified, and officials believe they were either trapped in the house, or overcome with smoke and heat.

A different man and woman did manage to escape the house safely, but they say a second couple remained inside.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
