New Brunswick RCMP confirmed the death of a young woman after trying to cross Highway 2 last night.
Constable Isabelle Beaulieu says they got the call around 10:15 last night.
“A young lady was struck and killed by a vehicle while she was trying to cross the highway,” says Constable Beaulieu.
She adds the woman was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead.
It is unclear whether the woman had been attending the ACDC show at the nearby Magnetic Hill concert site.
As of yet, there are no further details on the incident because the RCMP investigation is still underway.
