Promoter Promises AC/DC Will Be Phenomenal Show

The AC/DC concert on Magnetic Hill is not expected to attract 65-thousand fans like they did in 2009 but tens of thousands are still anticipated.

Promoter Andre Hudon with Donald K. Donald Productions gives a lot of credit to the City of Moncton and the province of New Brunswick for investing in the venue.

“We’ve transformed this site from just a pure field 10 years ago into what is now considered one of the world-class concert sites in Canada,” notes Hudon.

Since Atlantic Canadians are notorious for buying tickets at the last minute, Hudon says weather will play an important role in the show’s success.

AC/DC’s Canadian tour coordinator Ken Craig says fans in this country truly love the band.

“Canada is actually one of their best markets in the world. They sell quick… they sell fast… people love their rock and roll in Canada,” notes Craig.

Craig explains this is a big show with 58 buses and trucks filled with equipment and more than 1100 crew members – most of them from the local area – helping to set everything up.
