NDP leader Thomas Mulcair saying he will decriminalize personal cannabis use the minute an NDP government is formed.
New Brunswick NDP leader Dominic Cardy says harder drugs need to be the main target.
Cardy says a commission needs to look at the way the country tackles the drug problem and take a science based approach moving forward, rather then the current approach that hasn’t been working.
Mulcair also saying the NDP government would look at Canadians who previously faced criminal charges related to marijuana.
