Nearly 40 RCMP were honoured during a dedication ceremony at Base Gagetown.
They received awards honouring their dedication, committment and bravery.
Honorees included Corporal Ryan Lewis, for his 2012 response to a call involving a man who had doused himself in gasoline fluid with the intent of lighting himself on fire. That incident happened in a trailer park off Salisbury Road.
Long Service Medals were presented to 26 employees with 20, 25, 30, and 35 years of service and good conduct with the RCMP.
