Don’t be surprised if you happen to look out your window this week and see of flock of flamingos!
No, you’re not seeing things – it’s the second annual fundraiser from Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Greater Moncton.
Executive director Peter MacDonald says the flamingo campaign is expanding this year.
“You may wake up in the morning with a flock of flamingos roosting in your front yard or in front of your business. This year we have added the flocking of offices and cubicles,” notes MacDonald.
A letter comes with the flamingos explaining their arrival and you can choose among different-sized flocks which will stay for 24 hours or the length of a business day.
The campaign runs until September 11.
