Aboriginal People Being Encouraged To Get Involved In Federal Election

Congress of Aboriginal Peoples (CAP) Vice-Chief Ron Swain is urging Aboriginal People to participate in the federal election in any way possible.
He says Aboriginal people haven’t traditionally voted in mainstream elections.
Swain says Aboriginal people have only had an opportunity to vote since 1960
He says Aboriginal people need to vote and to look at the different parties and the platforms specifically addressing aboriginal issues.
