12-year-old Brooklyn Douthwright says she’s never done something like this before and she’s a little nervous, but she isn’t going to let that stop her.
She’ll be a part of the fifth annual Big Swim, taking place on August 16th.
Douthwright says she’ll have lots of support.
The Big Swim raises money for Camp Brigadoon, a camp for ill children.
A thousand dollars sends a kid to camp. So far, Douthwright has raised 11 hundred dollars.
