It’s a great day to donate blood.
First responders, including police, fire, and paramedics will take an hour out of their day to do the same, for the Guns and Hoses donation drive.
Moncton Fire Prevention Officer Steve Richardson says it’s quick and easy, and it’s something that is desparately needed.
He says, “You can’t make blood, you can only give it, so we really want to encourage everyone to come out and see us.”
Richardson says as a first responder, he sees the need for blood on a daily basis.
The Blood Drive will take place at Canadian Blood Services at 500 Mapleton Road, from 10 until 6 today.
