NB Gas Prices Take Tumble

Finally some good news for drivers in New Brunswick.

The price of regular self-serve gasoline has fallen by 2.7 cents per litre after an overnight adjusment by the provincial regulator.

Senior petroleum analyst Dan McTeague with Gasbuddy.com says a problem at Saint John’s Irving Oil refinery this week could impact prices next week.

“As demand is increasing in the U.S., we’re seeing prices inch up on the gasoline side despite what crude does. So any report of any refinery having trouble can be expected that the following week we may see increases in prices.”

Diesel has fallen by 0.6 cents per litre while heating oil has dropped slightly and propane is unchanged this week.
