Heavy Rain Expected Over The Next Day

It’s going to be a soggy Father’s Day.

Maritimers will feel the lingering effect of Tropical Storm Bill – in the form of heavy rain.

Environment Canada is forecasting sections of southwestern Nova Scotia will be drenched with 60 millimetres of rain over the next 24 hours.

Residents in southern New Brunswick and PEI will see 30 to 40 millimetres.

The system will move out Monday.
