A 32-year-old man charged with attempted murder, has elected to be tried by judge and jury.
Shawn Fredericks appeared in Moncton court this morning.
He was arrested in May, a week after a drive by shooting at a home on MacKenzie Avenue. There was one person home at the time but no one was hurt in the incident.
Fredericks will return to court on June 22nd.
