The City of Dieppe is looking for civic minded volunteers to join in a budgeting project.
They want what they are calling “budget delegates” who will help decide which ideas from residents will be presented to the community for their votes.
It’s a municipal initiative designed to encourage residents to bring forward ideas aimed at improving the community.
Those who want to be delegates must be a Dieppe resident, at least 11 years of age, and be available for 6 to 8 meetings between June and October.
There are two orientation sessions are taking place:
1: Thursday June 11 from 6:30 pm to 8 pm in the Dieppe Room – City Hall.
2: Saturday June 13th from 10 am to 11:30 am in the Dieppe Room – City Hall.
