FIFA FanZone festivities will get underway tonight in Moncton.
The family-friendly program helps to kick-off the Women’s World Cup matches that will be played starting on June 9th.
Spokesperson for the City of Moncton Gillian Somers says it all begins at 6pm tonight, in Riverfront Park.
Tonight’s festivities include live music and food vendors…and at the end of the night, a fireworks display over the Petiticodiac River.
FanZone will run through the weekend, and will also include a live broadcast of soccer matches from other cities on a big screen in Riverfront Park.
