More than 400 participants are involved in this weekend’s BMO Hockey Hereos Weekend in Moncton.
The event also brings together 24 former NHL players to raise money for the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick.
This year’s fundraising goal is $600, 000 and the teams involved have already raised more than $470, 000 as of yesterday.
The event kicks off with a draft at Casino New Brunswick tonight at 6:30.
Games are being played at the Red Ball Internet Centre on Saturday starting at 8-am and Sunday starting at 9-am.
