Events have been organized across the province this week, to get the public better acquainted with the police services provided.
Codiac RCMP Corporal Mike Gaudet says It’s National Police Week.
He says, “It’s a chance for the officers to connect with the public. A lot of times officers are in police cruisers or on the scene of a crime, but they don’t have the opportunity to talk, and say , “Hi.”
Residents are invited to introduce themselves to the police officers at these events, and learn more about the work they are doing to keep our communities safe.
