Over $12, 000 was raised in Moncton and over 200 people took part in the “Walk So Kids Can Talk” event.
It was held yesterday at Mapleton Park.
Spokesperson Leslie Keevill says it was the 14th year for the event that supports Kids Help Phone, a counselling service that helps youth across the country, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Walks were held in Moncton, Saint John and Fredericton, and over $24, 000 total was raised in the province.
