Kids Help Phone Walk Marks 14th Year

A service that helps counsel kids will be supported this weekend.

Kids Help Phone’s ‘Walk So Kids Can Talk’ is back for its 14th year.

It will be held Sunday in 40 communities across Canada including Moncton, Fredericton, Halifax and Charlottetown.

The walk is Kids Help Phone’s largest fundraising event, which helps it provide the 24-hour telephone and online counselling service to youth across the country.

Last year’s event attracted over 10,000 people and raised more than $3-million.

It will be held on Sunday.

New Brunswick

Mapleton Park Rotary Lodge Pavilion 12:00 noon – 1:00 p.m., 600 Mapleton Rd., Moncton

Nova Scotia

Halifax Emera Oval 12:00 noon – 1:00 p.m., 5775 Cogswell St., Halifax

P.E.I.

UPEI, Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre, 12:00 noon – 1:00 p.m., 550 University Ave., Charlottetown

Rodd Mill River Resort, 12:00 noon – 1:00 p.m., 180 Mill Rd., Route 136, O’Leary
