Codiac RCMP say a rash of vehicle thefts have occurred in various parts of Metro Moncton this week.
Mounties are investigating 29 thefts from vehicles and in many cases the vehicles were unlocked.
Eleven thefts happened in Moncton sometime between Wednesday night and Thursday morning and some vehicle windows were broken.
Three thefts were reported in Dieppe yesterday in addition to eight others on Monday.
Police also received complaints of vehicle thefts from seven residents in Riverview’s Point Park neighbourhood earlier this week.
Once again, RCMP are reminding vehicle owners to keep all valuables out of sight and store items in the trunk.
