You can be a part of Canadian history.
The Royal Canadian Mint is giving people a chance to design a new set of coins for 2017.
It will help celebrate the country’s 150th anniversary.
Director of Communications, Christine Aquino says it’s a great opportunity.
“We did this for the Millenium, we did this for Canada 125, so we rarely do this. How special would it be to have your art work featured on a coin that is in everyone’s pocket across Canada.”
Winning designs will be used on the nickel, dime, quarter, loonie and toonie.
The deadline for submissions is April 30.
