Acadie/Amirault In Dieppe To Be Rebuilt

Almost $9 million will be split between the federal and provincial governments to rebuild a flood-prone section of Acadie Avenue/Amirault Street in Dieppe.

The long-awaited funding will help rebuild a 1.1 kilometre section of roadway through the Chartersville Marsh.

Work is expected to begin in a few weeks.

The project will likely take eight months to complete which will mean delays on that stretch this summer.

The City of Dieppe will be advising drivers of any necessary detours during the construction period.
