Moncton Man Arrested In Overnight Robberies

A Moncton man is in custody after a string of overnight robberies.

RCMP say two Needs Convenience stores on Mountain Road were robbed early this morning.

In both cases a 40 year old man demanded cash from employees, and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

Officers believe the same suspect also held up and robbed a man on Main street several hours later.

RCMP say an arrest was made by 6:30 this morning and the man will be charged in court later this afternoon.
