Five Arrested After Violent House Party

Codiac RCMP have arrested four men and one woman in connection with a house party that turned violent in downtown Moncton.

Police say a 43-year-old Moncton man was stabbed during the incident on February 23rd on Robinson Street.

54-year-old Brian Gordon Ingersoll has been charged with aggravated assault.

32-year-old James Robert Burnside, 25-year-old Hugh John Ryan and 21-year-old Kevin Stuart Dobson are also facing aggravated assault charges along with a slew of other offences.

All four remain in custody awaiting their next court dates.

Upon further investigation, police re-arrested 26-year-old Jami Susan Gillian Springer and she was charged with aggravated assault and kidnapping with a firearm.

Springer was released from custody with conditions and is expected back in court tomorrow to enter pleas.
