Mass Delusion Or Yet Another Snow Storm?

Unfortunately, it’s not a city wide delusion, there is in fact another storm blasting us with snow today.

Environment Canada meteorologist Mike Campbell says Spring is having an effect, making snow a little wetter and heavier than previous storms.

“Fifteen centimetres generally fell in the area, but as it stands right now the low pressure centre is over Cape Breton and is moving away,” says Campbell. “So a lot of that snow should start to taper off, especially by this afternoon.”

Campbell adds we are likely to get another 5 centimetres of snow today, although possibly more.

He says we should still expect high gusts of wind throughout the day causing local blowing snow, and potentially whiteout conditions.
