A 34 year old Moncton man is facing charges following two armed robberies yesterday.
RCMP officers say both robberies occurred at the same location, the Subway restaurant at 184 Mountain Road.
Around 2:20 in the morning, a man entered the store, armed with a weapon and demanded money – he then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police believe the man returned approximately 5 hours later again armed with a weapon and robbed the restaurant again.
He fled for a second time, once again with an undisclosed amount of cash.
RCMP say nobody was injured in either robbery.
Officers took Colin Scott into custody shortly thereafter and he was charged with two counts of armed robbery.
Scott will remain in custody and will appear in court on March 18th.
