Climbing gas prices are becoming a weekly occurrence.
The cost of regular self serve jumped by 4.6 cents a litre at midnight when the New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board made it price adjustment.
Most stations in Moncton are selling for around 108.6 this morning.
Senior petroleum analyst Dan McTeague with Gasbuddy.com says these prices don’t reflect where they should be at this time of year, and he sees more decreases in our future, within the next four to six weeks.
Increases in fuel prices were right across the board. Diesel went up by 2.1 cents. Furnace oil increased by 14.3 cents and propane was up slightly by 0.3 cents.
