The Chair for the 2014 United way campaign for Greater Moncton and Southeastern New Brunswick has fond memories of her experience.
The campaign wrapped up yesterday, with over 2.3 million dollars raised. That’s the most ever in the 61 years of the campaign.
Lisette Michaud-Carrier says it was an unforgettable experience, that brought a lot of people together to raise funds for such a great cause.
She says, “I have been blown away with just how generous this community is and how Monctonians and the greater community take care of those in need. I have just been so impressed with the generosity.”
All of the money raised benefits 28 non profit charitable organizations and 30 different programs with individuals suffering from physical and mental disabilities.
