There’s continued satisfaction from Monctonians with the performance of their City Council under the leadership of Moncton Mayor George Leblanc.
A poll conducted by Corporate Research Associates earlier this month of 212 Moncton residents, found 73 per cent were satisfied.
That down just slightly from 3 months ago, when results sat at 79 per cent.
Of the region’s four largest cities, only Fredericton respondents were happier with their council with 75 per cent satisfaction.
Meantime, in terms of consumer confidence, Moncton continues to outperform other major Maritime cities. That’s according to an Urban Report Survey conducted by Corporate Research Associates Inc.
In Moncton, consumer confidence sits at 101.5, down from 103.9 three months ago. That’s above levels in Halifax, Fredericton, and Saint John.
Chairman and CEO Don Mills says while still favourable, consumer confidence in Moncton has declined in the last two quarters after
coming off a nearly three year high in August of last year.
