Two people have been hospitalized after a small explosion and fire at a home containing two apartments in Sussex.
According to the Canadian Red Cross, those people were in the apartment unit where the explosion and fire broke out late Friday night on Church Avenue.
Six people are now temporarily homeless including a family of four – disaster volunteers are helping the man and woman, along with their five-year-old and infant sons from the other unit.
The cause of the explosion and fire is now being investigated.
