The route for the Coldest Night of the Year walk is changed for tonight because of all the snow on the ground.
Associate Director of Youth Impact Jeunesse Cathy Manuel says all the original routes were not accessible to pedestrians.
The new route now leaves Youth QUEST Central at 199 George street at 5 tonight heading west towards Centennial Park.
There will be volunteers and signs in place to let people know how far they’ve walked and when to turn back.
Manuel adds this year’s event has already passed last year’s totals, in terms of money raised and teams and walkers by almost 20 percent.
As of this morning, there were 27 teams, with 142 walkers and just a little over 22,000 dollars raised.
