A Moncton teacher will have two trials instead of one in connection with allegations of sexual exploitation.
41-year-old William MacGillivray is accused of child luring, two counts of sexual exploitation, obstructing police and breach of a court undertaking.
Two separate students are involved in the allegations.
During an appearance in Moncton’s Court of Queen Bench yesterday, the Crown and the defense both agreed there should be two separate trials to reflect each victim.
MacGillivray is scheduled to face the first trial on March 10th with the second trial at a later date.
The incidents allegedly occurred between 2010 and 2013 when MacGillivray was a teacher at Harrison Trimble High School.
