Arrest Made In Deadly Python Case

RCMP have made an arrest in connection with the deaths of two young brothers in Campbellton.

Police say one person was arrested today in the province of Quebec and is currently in custody.

At this point no charges have been laid.

Four-year-old Noah Barthe and his six-year-old brother Connor both died on August 5, 2013.

Autopsies determined the boys died after being asphyxiated by an African rock python that was being housed in the same apartment where the boys were having a sleepover.

The apartment was located above an exotic pet store.
