Another Sighting of the Missing Ontario Patients

A 39 year-old man and a 37-year-old woman reported missing last week from a North Bay, Ontario health facility have been spotted again in New Brunswick.

Joseph Pepin and Cara Duval, who also goes by Donnelly, were both seen in Doaktown over the weekend.

On Sunday around 3pm the pair approached a local apartment owner on Main Street in Doaktown and attempted to rent an apartment. The owner refused and contacted police.

They left the area in an older model grey vehicle similar to a Chrysler Intrepid with a New Brunswick license plate.

North Bay Police advise that the pair may be dangerous and if you see them,call 911 immediately.

Cara Duval (also uses the name Donnelly), 37, is described as a Caucasian woman, approximately 5’1″ tall, 117 lbs with brown eyes and brown shoulder length hair that is usually kept in a pony-tail. She also has a scar between her eyebrows. She was last seen wearing a ¾-length blue coat with a fur trimmed hood, pink boots, and a blue and black toque.

Joseph Pepin, 39, is described as a Caucasian man, approximately 6′ tall, 174 lbs with blue eyes, short brown hair and a goatee. He may be wearing a short, black coat or a ¾-length grey coat, jeans, running shoes and a dark baseball cap.

Duval and Pepin were reported missing to North Bay Police on January 22 when they left the North Bay Hospital’s Mental Health and the Law program and did not return after permitted off-unit privileges.
