Kedgwick Man Sentenced To Four Years In Jail For Drug Trafficking

A 44 year old Kedgwick man is facing 4 years of jail time after sentencing yesterday for drug charges.

Gilles Raymond was found guilty of conspiracy to traffic cocaine and methamphetamines.

Officers say he was arrested in 2012 as part of a larger multi agency drug investigation called Operation J-Themis which led to the disruption of a criminal network that was supplying large quantities of illegal drugs into northwestern New Brunswick.

During their investigation, police say they seized more than a kilogram of cocaine and approximately 10-thousand pills of methamphetamine.
