Missing Ontario Mental Health Patients Have Been Spotted In N.B.

Police are looking for two missing mental health patients from Ontario who are said to pose a significant threat to public safety and have been seen in New Brunswick.

Cara Duval, who also goes by the last name Donnelly, and Joseph Pepin were reported missing last Thursday by the North Bay Regional Health Centre’s Mental Health and Law program after they didn’t come back from off-unit privileges.

They were identified on an in-store camera at the Irving gas station in Hanwell on Monday afternoon. Anyone who sees them is advised not to approach them and call 911 right away.

Duval is described as:

• a Caucasian woman
• 5’1″, 117 lbs
• 37 years of age
• brown hair shoulder length, usually kept in a pony tail
• brown eyes
• last seen wearing a ¾-length blue coat, pink boots, blue and black toque

Pepin is described as:

• a Caucasian man
• 6 feet tall, 174 lbs
• 39 years of age
• brown hair
• blue eyes
• may be wearing a ¾-length grey coat, jeans and running shoes.

They were last seen driving a black, four-door, 2006 Volkswagen Jetta with Ontario licence plate # BRVK449.
