There will be a regimental funeral for 42 year-old David Wynn and his family on Monday in Edmonton.
Wynn died after being shot at a casino in St. Albert on Saturday.
He was taken off life support Wednesday morning.
Wynn has roots in Bridgewater, N.S., and Miramichi, N.B.
A regimental funeral is offered to the family when a loved one dies in the line of duty.
The ceremony involves Mounties marching into the funeral wearing the traditional Red Serge uniform.
It begins at 5pm.
