Leader Of NB Green Party Welcomes Change For 2015

2014 brought great new things for the Leader of the New Brunswick Green Party, David Coon.

On September 22nd, he won in the Fredericton South riding, becoming the first member of a provincial Green Party to win a seat in the New Brunswick legislature.

In a year end interview, he told us he hopes to see changes that would see MLA’s operate differently in the province.

He would like to a changes to the rules for MLA’s that would include a job description and Code of Conduct in the Legislature.

He says he will be working hard in January working on the bills and motions he plans to introduce.

Coon feels the government needs to figure out a way to get New Brunswickers back in control of our province instead of handing things over to private interests and says we need to get New Brunswickers back into the drivers seat in 2015.
