UPDATE: Two men are in custody after Codiac RCMP made two arrests last night in the parking lot of the Riverview Atlantic Superstore. The investigation is still ongoing.
Codiac RCMP are investigating the armed robbery of a pharmacy in Riverview.
Officers say around 10:30 yesterday morning two men dresed in black with their faces covered robbed the Guardian Pharmacy in broad daylight.
The pharmacy is right across the street from the Riverview Fire Department and around the corner from the Southeast RCMP detachment.
Officers say a dark coloured SUV was waiting out front and the suspects took off after taking cash and prescription medications.
The men are said to have been carrying knives – but officers report neither of the two employees working were injured.
The suspects are described as being six feet tall with stocky builds, all dressed in black with black gloves and obscured faces.
