NB Woman Encourages Everyone To Send Best Wishes To Hospitalized Baie-Sainte-Anne Girl

There’s overwhelming support for a nine year old Baie-Sainte Anne girl who is spending her Christmas at the IWK Hospital.

Alyssa Sippley was admitted to hospital with a type A strep throat which is a rare strain of bacteria, that led to septic shock and the removal of portions of her arms and legs.

Cheryl Leblanc from Shediac has launched a Facebook page in the hopes that everyone will rally behind her family and send cards and good wishes this holiday season.

She doesn’t know the family, but says afterall, it is the season of giving, and she is a firm believer in paying it forward.

Her hope is that the family will receive at least 1000 cards and gifts over the festive season. For more information, visit the Facebook page “Thinking of you cards, Alyssa Sippley
