Charges Not Expected In Pedestrian Death

RCMP have released the name of a pedestrian who was struck and killed in Bouctouche this week.

Police say 76-year-old Hector Mazerolle of Bouctouche was trying to cross Irving Boulevard late Monday afternoon when he was hit by a vehicle.

He later passed away in hospital.

Mounties say charges are not expected to be laid in the incident.
