Road Conditions Improve In Metro Moncton

RCMP say conditions on the Trans Canada Highway have improved in Southeast New Brunswick after a round of freezing rain earlier today which made roads slick.

Mounties are still urging drivers to use slow down and use caution.

Scores of accidents were reported in Metro Moncton today although police say no one has been seriously hurt.

Reports were also coming in about people slipping and falling on ice.

Precipitation has changed to rain which should end later tonight.
